51.CAJ06 J. Leiva Zoco Sweet Spot Cajon

[51CAJ06 Leiva sweet spot cajon]This member of the Leiva Zoco Cajon family features a 'Sweet Spot' design at the optimum spot for good bass tones & is supplied with a padded protective carrying bag at no extra cost.

The best sounding introductory cajons available from any manufacturer, all of the Zoco family produce cutting highs & powerful bass tones. A coated mdf body eliminates the boxy mid-tones prevalent on many entry level cajons, giving the Leiva Sweet Spot cajon a solid, probably more pop-orientated sound (although it is by no means restricted to such application). Birch tapa (front) face ensures cracking high tones.

J. Leiva Zoco Sweet Spot cajons produce powerful, punchy & focussed bass tones. Rear hole is towards the top of the rear face.

The broad dynamic (tonal & volume) range is well-balanced across playing intensities & it is also possible to produce high tones with very little or no bass component & bass tones with little or no high tone component or snare rattle. Zoco cajons certainly produce plenty of 'bark' when high intensity playing is needed.

The more mellow sound of the shell still allows a wide variety of effects, clicks, pops & snaps to be easily interspersed within your playing, again in great balance with the other tones; clearly standing out without dominating or getting lost.

Adjustment of the two internal snare wires is via an external DTS snare adjuster at the base of the rear face. Adjustment is quick & easy allowing you to customise the cajon to your own sound & your own individual needs during a playing or recording situation. So you can change from a tighter, funkier sound, to a more gritty, rattly snare sound for ballads etc.

All-in-all, a great cajon for newcomer or musician who wants to sound excellent without breaking the bank :)

All Leiva cajons stand-out from the competition regarding value for money, balance of sounds & enjoyment to play.  When you buy from us, we either visit the UK importer directly & choose a cajon that we'd be happy to play live or in a recording situation for you or we take you to choose your own.

It was good to do business with someone who has a genuine interest and knowledge of the product, it makes such a difference.
